Calling all Taco Tuesday lovers!  The Cadence Kitchen has created a yummy, healthier take on Italian sausage rolls with corn tortillas. This recipe features the Gnar Gnar kraut which adds a little heat to the dish. Don’t let that frighten you off, however! The peach that gets sautéed with everything tempers it out a bit with it’s sweetness so that you will be hooked from your first Gnar-ly bite.

Taco Style Sausage Rolls


+ 1 smoked uncured sausage (try this kind) cut into diagonal thins.
+ 1 Red Bell Pepper, cut into thin strips
+ 1/2 Sweet Onion, cut into thin strips
+ 2 cloves Garlic, thinly sliced
+ 1/4 cup Olive Oil
+ Gnar Gnar sauerkraut
+ 1/2 Peach, thinly sliced
+ 1 tsp Fennel Seed
+ 1/2 tsp coarse Black Pepper
+ Salt to taste
+ Corn Tortillas


Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium low. Add in the sausage, peppers, onion, garlic, fennel, pepper, and peach. Slowly sauté the mix over low heat until tender and lightly caramelized. Season with salt. Warm the tortillas and fill with the sautéd mix. Top with a big spoonful of Cleveland Kraut Gnar Gnar sauekraut and start devouring.
